The Benefits of Medical Cannabis: Presentation for Senior Care Givers
Recent scientific findings on the therapeutic properties of cannabis are raising questions about our current health care system. Research suggests that cannabis use by older adults is on the rise and with legalization on the horizon, many patients are replacing their pharmaceuticals with medical cannabis to treat chronic pain, sleep disorders, autoimmune disorders, symptoms of cancer, anxiety, neurological disorders, and much more. Join us as cannabis consultant Andrew Gill provides an informative lecture on medical cannabis.
Andrew is a senior cannabis consultant and a medical cannabis user. He was a personal trainer for 10 years and uses his knowledge about health and fitness to his advantage when helping medical cannabis patients. He is excellent at increasing the accessibility of cannabis while decreasing the stigma related to its use by providing up-to-date information about the plant. His patients and personal autoimmune conditions help him better understand patient’s needs, and build direct relationships with them. His extensive knowledge affords him the ability to find alternatives for those who have complicated medical histories and sensitivities to cannabis.
